Happy Earth Day

To help celebrate Earth Day, we just got a new composter for our garden. Now all of our kitchen trimmings have a place to composte into nutrient rich soil for our vegetable and herb garden. All those banana peels, apple cores, egg shells, and other scraps of produce can now become mulch for our new vegetables, herbs, berries and fruit trees.
This neat composter was only $39 from the local warehouse, simple to assemble, and easy to use. Now we'll have a convenient source of nutritious soil additive for our happy garden.
Why throw away perfectly recyclable stuff into the trash to be shipped to a land fill in someone else's neighborhood?
Also remember to recycle every possible container and most of your trash. This is where we live, let's preserve it for our grandchildren. Happy Earth Day!
